Four-laning of Rohtak-Hansi-Hisar road is all set to start soon as the Centre’s Public Private Partnership Approval Committee has finally approved the ambitious Rs 959.25 crore project.

MP Deepinder Singh Hooda said the project would open new vistas of progress for larger part of the state.

He thanked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Surface Transport Minister CP Joshi for approving the project.

Hooda earlier held many rounds of meetings with Union Road Transport and Highways Ministry for clearance of this project, a long standing demand of people of the area.

He said the National Highway Authority of India would shortly tender this 98.89 km long project and work on it would soon commence.

He said five bye-passes would be constructed under this project at Hansi City, Meham, Kharkada, Madina and Rohtak City. It would provide big relief to people in those cities and ease traffic. The road would pass through the heart of Haryana and give a big boost to its economy, he added.

Haryana state vigilance bureau on Wednesday caught Rohtak assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Ram Pal while accepting bribe of Rs. 10,000 from another ASI Jagdish Chander for stopping one annual increment instead of dismissal.
A spokesman of the bureau said that a case has been registered, under section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act (PCA), in the bureau’s police station, Rohtak and it was being further investigated.

It is reported that a truck coming from gohana side hit the bike of a 12th class student Harshit Gehlot of sec. 2 Rohtak when he is going to his tution monday morning near Pathania School. Student got dead on the spot as after hitting truck’s tire passed from his body.  His accidentel bike got fire. Just after the accident police reached and send the body for postmortem.

A group of some physco people have started spreading terror of HIV(Aids) in Rohtak. They just come for a short span of time and they randomly target anyone specially girls.

They attack them with contaminated Hiv syringe(injection). Kindly be aleart..!! they roam around on bikes..in groups… and apart from boys..some girls are also playing a role in this inhuman act… Many cases of this are reported..!!

HUDA Complex situated Janta Boot House caught fire tuesday evening. After two hours of fighting the fire brigade controlled the fire. Incident occurred due to short circuit or by someone.

About Movie: Heroine is directed, written, and co-produced by Madhur Bhandarkar. Revolving around the life of a once successful film actress, Mahi Arora, whose career is on the decline, the film features Kareena Kapoor as the protagonist along with actors Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda and Rakesh Bapat. Filming

Production for the film was marred by the kidnapping and brutal murder of Meenakshi Thapar by a co-star, Amit Jaiswal, who like Thapar, only had a minor role in the film. Thapar was strangled in her hotel room in Gorakhpur and her body dumped into a water tank and head decapitated and thrown out of the window of a moving bus.

Heroine is expected to collect around 8 crore (US$1.45 million) on its first day and around33 crore (US$5.97 million) over the first weekend at the Box Office.
